Las Vegas, NV - Red-light Injury Crash at Charleston Blvd & Pavilion Center Dr

Las Vegas, NV (July 6, 2024) - A multi-vehicle collision in the Las Vegas area on Friday, July 5, resulted in several confirmed injuries. The accident occurred at the corner of Charleston Boulevard and Pavilion Center Drive early that morning, around 7:09 a.m. near the Red Rock Casino. Three vehicles reportedly collided at the intersection.

Local reports indicated that an 80-year-old Las Vegas man was driving a Ford headed southbound on Pavilion Center when he crashed with an Audi-driven 32-year-old Texas man who had a green light. After the initial impact, the Ford then hit a BMW driven by a 29-year-old Las Vegas resident who was stopped at a right light on Charleston. Two victims were transported by ambulance to UMC Trauma in critical condition. The driver of the Ford sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.

Red Light Crashes in Nevada

Stop signs and traffic lights are in place to keep the road safe for everyone. Unfortunately, if drivers ignore them, they can't do much to prevent a serious collision. Many drivers run red lights and stop signs, which can lead to deadly collisions. When crossing an intersection, you should always drive carefully because a major auto accident could occur at almost any time. Statistics show that nearly every day, an estimated 50,000 people are hurt in red-light collisions. Studies show that there is a greater chance of injury from a red-light collision than from any other type of collision. People outside the car that ran the light are involved in most of these deaths. It is important that you work with a trained lawyer to pursue a strong claim.

After a significant car accident, you do not want to find yourself in a challenging situation where you have to deal with rising damages and other expenses.
