Las Vegas, NV (July 2, 2024) – A woman was killed after a pedestrian accident in the Las Vegas area on Sunday, June 30. The deadly crash was reported at the corner of NV-574 and Martin Luther King Boulevard late that night around 8:30 p.m. Emergency responders were rushed to the scene after being notified of a serious pedestrian crash.
It was reported that a 67-year-old woman was hit by a 1996 Acura sedan. It was later revealed that the victim was crossing Cheyenne Avenue when she was hit by the eastbound Acura. The injured party suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by attending medical personnel. The driver, 29-year-old Luis Alvarado Lopez, remained at the scene and showed signs of impairment. Lopez was taken into custody and is currently facing charges related to the incident.
