Emergency crews were rushed to the scene, and the injured party was provided aid at the scene. The victim was later transferred to the University Medical Center's trauma center by ambulance for the treatment of critical injuries. Carreon was also hurt and transported to the hospital. She reportedly showed signs of impairment. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
