According to the most recent data, the number of fatal collisions has climbed dramatically over the last 10 years, with 2022 ranking among the deadliest years on the state's roads in recent memory. The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) reports that 382 persons lost their lives in 352 fatal collisions that occurred in the state that year.
