Car Accidents in Nevada
The majority of Nevadans commute on a daily basis, and roadways are often dangerous places. The most recent crash statistics show that the number of fatalities on the roadways is increasing every year. 2022 was among the worst years in recent memory on Nevada roads. The Nevada Department of Public Safety (NDPS) reports that in 352 fatal car accidents in the state in that year, 382 persons lost their lives. Approximately 4 percent of these fatal crashes occur in Clark County, which is home to Las Vegas. Car crashes continue to be the leading cause of fatalities and severe injuries.
