Reno, NV (July 10, 2024) – A woman was injured after being hit by a motor vehicle in the Reno area on Tuesday, July 9. The accident took place at the corner of Sutro Street and Wedekind Road that afternoon, around 2 p.m. Local reports revealed that the victim was traveling in a pickup truck when the vehicle ran out of gas.
The woman and the driver, her boyfriend, exited the vehicle as the driver attempted to push it. It was then that the victim was struck. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. The injured party was transported to a trauma center at Renown in critical condition.
