Henderson, NV (June 29, 2024) – A pedestrian suffered critical injuries after a traffic accident in the Henderson area on Thursday, June 28. The accident was reported at the intersection of Horizon Ridge Parkway and Eastern Avenue late that night, around 10 p.m. The victim was traveling on foot when they were hit by an oncoming motor vehicle.
Emergency crews were called to the scene to provide the necessary aid. The injured pedestrian was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition for treatment. Currently, it is unknown if alcohol was a factor in the collision. It is also unknown if the driver involved remained at the scene to provide aid to the victim. Local officials informed local drivers to avoid the scene and to prepare for significant delays.
