Las Vegas, NV (June 21, 2024) - Two men were killed following a fiery collision in the Las Vegas area on Thursday, June 20. The fatal accident took place on County Road 215 near Jones Boulevard that afternoon, around 4 p.m. Three vehicles reportedly collided at the scene.
Local reports revealed that a man driving a GMC utility truck was traveling eastbound in westbound traffic when he collided head-on with another vehicle. The impact caused the second car to spin out and hit a third vehicle. The second and third vehicles caught fire and went off the right side of the road. One of the drivers of those vehicles was able to self-extricate, but the other suffered fatal injuries. The wrong-way driver was also killed in the collision. A passenger in that vehicle was injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment. No further information on the incident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is in progress.
