Distracted Driving Accidents in Nevada

In the state of Nevada, distracted driving is one of the primary causes of tragic collisions. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) released statistics showing that 3,522 Americans lost their lives in 2021 as a result of inattentive drivers. This is a rise of approximately 12.1 percent from 2020 and 12.9 percent from 2019. Texting while driving is one of the most prevalent types of distracted driving on Nevadan roads. According to data from the National Safety Council (NSC), the number of drivers using handheld devices while operating a vehicle climbed by an astounding 127 percent in just 10 years, from 1.5 percent in 2012 to 3.4 percent in 2021. Injured parties should consult with a knowledgeable lawyer following a significant collision in order to strengthen their claim for compensation.

Your recovery after a major accident is highly important. It can be challenging to fully understand your condition and determine the necessary steps for a successful recovery. Devastating crashes can leave you feeling helpless and alone. After suffering injuries in an accident brought on by a careless driver, victims of crashes frequently feel lost and alone. As you pursue a claim to recover, the worse these feelings will become. The insurance company will attempt to exploit your situation by persuading you to accept a lowball settlement offer that is less than your full compensation. Make sure the attorney representing you is prepared and competent to defend your legal rights in order to maximize your settlement.
