Reno, NV (June 2, 2024) – A motorcyclist was killed after a collision in the Reno area on Saturday, June 1. The deadly accident was reported in Washoe County on Geiger Grade that afternoon around 4:25 p.m. Local reports revealed that a motorcyclist was traveling northbound when it collided with a southbound Subaru.
Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. The rider sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two adults traveling in the Subaru were injured and transported by ambulance to a local hospital for additional support. It is unknown why the rider entered southbound traffic at this time. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. Tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris.
