Las Vegas, NV (May 18, 2024) – On Friday, May 17, a pedestrian was killed after a traffic accident in the Las Vegas area. The fatal accident was reported at the corner of N. Main Street and E. Owens Avenue early that morning around 11:15 a.m. Local reports revealed that a wheelchair-bound pedestrian was hit by the driver of an oncoming pickup truck at the intersection.
Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. The injured pedestrian was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. They were later pronounced dead.
