Pedestrian Accidents in Nevada

Walking is an excellent way to get around in a bustling city like Las Vegas, but it also increases your risk of being struck by a car. Nationwide, the number of pedestrian fatalities is rising, and Nevada's highways are notoriously dangerous for pedestrians. In 376 recorded fatal pedestrian crashes in Nevada last year, 387 people lost their life. According to data, city streets account for about 90 percent of pedestrian fatalities in the state, with Clark County usually having the highest annual rate of fatal pedestrian accidents in Nevada. It is critical that you are prepared to defend your way of life in the event that you or a loved one suffers a significant injury while crossing the street.

Serious injuries are common if you or a loved one gets hurt while walking on or near a road. Pedestrians are especially susceptible to extremely serious injuries in a traffic accident as they have almost no protection from the full impact of the crash. To ensure a full recovery if you are hurt while crossing the street, make sure you take every step that is necessary. It is common knowledge that severe or even fatal injuries sustained in pedestrian accidents can lead to expensive medical bills and other losses that you may not be able to handle on your own. It is not fair to have life-altering injuries and to be left drowning in debt due to someone else's reckless actions.
