High-Speed Collisions in Nevada
In many crashes in Nevada, speed is involved. There are a startling number of traffic fatalities in the United States that are caused by speeding drivers. There were 12,330 fatal collisions in 2021, making up nearly 29 percent of traffic fatalities that year. That means that accidents involving speed result in about 33 fatalities per day. Roughly 22 percent of deadly speeding-related collisions occur on wet roads, according to statistics. Speeding is a reckless habit that puts everyone on the road at risk of serious injury. Not only does it increase the risk of losing control of a vehicle, but traveling at excessive speeds is known to magnify the force of impact in the event of a collision. A skilled attorney can assist you in pursuing a successful personal injury claim if a speeding driver causes unjustified harm to you or someone you care about.
