Hit-&-Run Accidents in Nevada
Driving away from the scene of a serious crash is against the law. This leaves the injured party unable to get the care they need to recover. According to statistics, the majority of fatalities caused by hit-and-run crashes in the United States involve cyclists and pedestrians, accounting for approximately 68 percent of related deaths. About 5 percent of all traffic fatalities reported nationwide each year are caused by drivers who leave the scene of an accident, and between 2012 and 2021, the number of fatal hit-and-run accidents increased by about 48.7 percent. After a hit-and-run, pursuing a full recovery may seem impossible, but you still have legal options. You should partner with a trusted lawyer to pursue a personal injury claim and protect your right to compensation.
On the road, pedestrians are especially vulnerable. Pedestrians are less protected from the full force of a collision and are therefore more likely to suffer possibly fatal injuries in a traffic accident. These types of crashes carry a high risk because of the serious injuries and financial harm that can result. This is the reason it is even more important that you deal with a knowledgeable lawyer who has helped injured parties pursue successful injury claims after a serious pedestrian accident. You can be certain that your case is in good hands when you represent yourself in court with an accomplished legal team.
