Nevada Distracted Driving Accidents

Nearly nine people in the United States lose their lives as a result of distracted driving every day, and human error is to blame for nearly 90 percent of documented auto accidents. Data show that distracted driving is quickly overtaking other factors as the leading cause of serious auto accidents in the nation. It is an extremely risky habit. Distracted driving causes approximately 3,000 fatal crashes annually. Although talking to passengers, fiddling with the radio dial, or even using a GPS are examples of potentially distracting driving behaviors, texting while driving is one of the worst offenders. About ten percent of the time, distracted drivers will not have their eyes on the road. If you or someone close to you is hurt in a crash, you should consult a trained lawyer to pursue a claim for compensation.

You can never be totally safe when driving beside another person. No matter how careful of a driver you are, there is nothing much you can do to prevent an irresponsible driver from hurting you on the road. In addition to significant damages, victims of motor accidents frequently suffer from serious injuries. These losses could include accruing medical debt, expensive auto repairs, and lost income from being unable to go back to work. Hiring a capable attorney to represent you is the first step in ensuring that you may properly recover from your damages following a serious traffic accident.

Pursuing a claim for compensation on your own is no easy feat. It is always in your best interests to work closely with a qualified lawyer to get the most out of your case.
