Distracted Driving Crashes in Nevada
Every driver has an obligation to act responsibly and prevent causing injury to others when operating a motor vehicle. They also have to focus entirely on the road. Distracted driving is one of the main factors causing major crashes in the United States, and unfortunately, far too many drivers in Nevada engage in this reckless habit. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports that 3,522 people were killed by distracted drivers in the United States in 2021. This is a rise of more than 12.1 percent from 2020. Using a cell phone is one of the most frequent contributing factors in fatal distracted driving crashes. The National Safety Council (NSC) reported that the frequency of crashes involving drivers using mobile devices increased by an astounding 128 percent in just ten years.
Too much is at risk following a major collision to leave your recovery to chance. You must be sure that you are able to pursue the maximum amount of money in your claim because it could jeopardize your entire way of life. It might be challenging to understand how best to pursue a full recovery when you are dealing with costly financial damages and new injuries. If you are not successful in getting the compensation you are entitled to in your claim, you run the risk of being left with overwhelming medical debt and other expenses that you are unable to cover on your own.
