Deadly Pedestrian Accidents in Nevada
No matter how you travel, there is always a chance that you could sustain serious injuries in a traffic collision. Statistics show that pedestrians are even more likely to sustain severe injuries in the event of a crash. Pedestrians are some of the most vulnerable roadway travelers, and statistics show that related fatalities are on the rise. In 2021 alone, there were over 8,000 pedestrian fatalities on American roadways. This means that one person dies on average every 66 minutes as a pedestrian. Pedestrians accounted for nearly one out of every six traffic fatalities in the United States that year. Any accident is never easy to handle, but handling a fatal one is especially challenging. You can seek justice by pursuing a strong wrongful death claim with the assistance of an experienced attorney.
Pedestrians have virtually little protection in an accident. This means that they are more likely to suffer severe or even fatal injuries in a crash. Your losses and damages can make life difficult, and things like medical bills can climb quickly. After a deadly pedestrian accident, you may be eligible to file a wrongful death claim to recover burial and funeral expenses. Wrongful death claims are some of the most complicated types of cases. If you try to handle your case alone, you can face unanticipated problems and obstacles that you are not ready to handle.
