Spring Valley, NV (May 5, 2024) - On Friday, May 3, six people were injured after a multi-vehicle accident in the Spring Valley area. The accident was reported on S. Rainbow Boulevard near Spring Valley Parkway S. late that night around 7:52 p.m. Local reports indicated that a 2002 Mercedes-Benz C-Class was stopped at a red light at the time of the crash.
It was then that a northbound Toyota Camry with a green light was hit by a Honda Pilot making a left turn with a flashing yellow light. The driver of the Honda failed to yield to the Toyota, and the two vehicles collided. The impact caused the Honda to hit the stopped Mercedes. The driver and two passengers of the Honda were transported to the University Medical Center for the treatment of sustained injuries. One of the victims was listed in critical condition.
The driver and two passengers of the Toyota were also hurt and hospitalized for treatment. No other injuries were reported in the accident. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
