Deadly Pedestrian Crashes in Nevada

In Nevada, pedestrian safety is a major concern. A total of 387 people died in 376 pedestrian crashes in the state in a recent four-year study. Pedestrians frequently have to share the road with careless cars when navigating city streets. This could be the reason that metropolitan areas accounted for over 90 percent of pedestrian fatalities. Every year, Clark County has the greatest number of fatal pedestrian crashes in Nevada and continues to be a major factor in pedestrian crashes throughout the state. It is difficult to navigate the aftermath of a deadly crash on your own. If you work closely with a competent lawyer, you can potentially pursue a wrongful death claim in order to recover lost compensation after a fatal accident.

Managing the aftermath of a pedestrian collision is never simple. Pedestrian accidents are known to result in major injuries and significant financial damages due to the exposed nature of the victim. Because there is almost nothing protecting the pedestrian from the full power of the collision, they will nearly always suffer serious injuries. You should find out if filing a personal injury claim is a possible option to recover damages fo any resulting damages by contacting a trained lawyer as soon as possible. This is often the only way to know if you have grounds to pursue a claim. It is important that you have someone on your side to help you pursue justice during this difficult time.

You will likely feel that your life will never be the same after a deadly crash. However, under Nevada state law, you can recover financially by pursuing a wrongful death claim.
