Distracted Driving Crashes in Nevada
Driving is dangerous enough. When drivers are not paying attention to the road, it can be downright deadly. Distracted driving is quickly rising to the top of the list of causes of fatal car crashes in the United States. Statistics show that every year in the United States, distracted driving causes over 3,000 fatalities and hundreds of thousands of serious injuries. The state of Nevada has a special issue with distracted driving. A recent five-year research conducted by the Nevada Office of Traffic Safety (NOTS) found that approximately four percent of crashes in the state are caused by distracted drivers, which can involve everything from texting while driving to talking with a passenger in the backseat. Regardless of what caused the accident, you have a right to compensation for your damages and any injuries you may have incurred. A qualified attorney can help you pursue a strong claim for compensation.
