Nevada Distracted Driving Crashes
Driving requires your complete focus and concentration. Distracted driving has emerged as the nation's leading cause of serious crashes. In a recent year, distracted driving resulted in 3,100 fatalities and 424,000 injuries in the United States. One in five of these deaths, according to the figures, occurred outside of an automobile. Texting while driving is likely the most common type of driver distraction, but many other examples can be just as bad. You could easily travel the entire length of a football field at highway speeds in the time it takes to send one text message.
