Nevada Distracted Driving Crashes
Driving requires complete focus, but too many drivers seem to have a hard time paying attention to the road. One of the primary causes of fatal crashes nationwide is distracted driving. In the United States, distracted driving caused 424,000 injuries and 3,100 fatalities in a recent year, and statistics show that one in five of these deaths were outside a car. There are numerous other forms of driver distraction, but texting and driving is arguably the most common on Nevada roads. At highway speeds, you could easily cover the length of a football field in the time it takes to send one text message.
