Reno, NV (September 18, 2024) – There were serious injuries after a car accident in the Reno area on Tuesday, September 17. The collision took place at around 5:03 p.m. near the corner of N. Virginia Street and E. 9th Street. Two or more vehicles collided at the scene.
Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to render the necessary aid to the involved parties. The crash victims were treated at the scene before being transferred to a local hospital for additional support. The number and severity of the resulting injuries have not been determined, nor have the circumstances leading to the collision. The area was later reopened to outside traffic after tow trucks were able to clear the resulting debris. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
