Nevada High-Speed Collisions
Speeding can make the difference between a minor accident and a catastrophic collision. There are a lot of high-speed accidents in Nevada. In fact, speeding is the second most common cause of major accidents in the state. In addition to making it much more likely that a car accident will happen, speeding makes it harder for drivers to keep control of their cars and react quickly to unexpected road dangers. Nevada reported 396 deaths in 2022 from drivers who were going too fast, which is about 2.86 percent more than the previous year. Over the last 20 years, speeding has been linked to about one-third of all road deaths. Drivers who put other people in danger by breaking the law should be held responsible by a trained lawyer.
