Tanker Truck Accidents in Nevada
A large truck can cause complete devastation in the event of a crash, and those traveling in smaller vehicles are more likely to suffer the brunt of these types of collisions. According to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), a total of 266 people were killed in Nevada due to trucking accidents in a recent ten-year span. There are more than 500,000 crashes involving semi-trucks reported in the United States each year, resulting in thousands of deaths and even more injuries.
It can be hard to carry on after a devastating trucking accident. You likely have experienced serious injuries as a result of your crash. A fully loaded truck can weigh many times more than a typical passenger car, and the sheer force of impact is enough to leave those traveling in smaller cars with life-threatening injuries. You may later find that your injuries were quite severe and that you are unable to deal with the resulting damages on your own. You should not be held responsible if you did not cause the accident. That is why you need to partner with a trusted attorney who will be able to help you exercise your rights in order to pursue a full recovery.
Trucking injury cases can be quite complicated, and they often involve several different parties. You are not just going up against the truck driver. You are also potentially battling against a large trucking company and even a third-party parts manufacturer. You need to make sure you have a skilled legal team on your side that can make a real difference when pursuing lost compensation.
