Reno, NV (December 16, 2023) - On Friday, December 15, a pedestrian was killed after a hit-and-run accident in the Reno area. The deadly accident was reported at the corner of Wrondel Way and Hubbard Way that evening at around 6:37 p.m. A pedestrian was traveling near the scene when they were hit by an oncoming motor vehicle.
The at-fault driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the injured party. Emergency responders were later notified of the accident and were dispatched. The victim was pronounced dead by attending medical personnel about one thousand feet from the east of the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino. The identity of the deceased has not been made public at this time. An ongoing investigation into the deadly crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
