Nevada High-Speed Collisions
Many drivers think it is perfectly safe to exceed the speed limit, but the reality is that it is anything but. Speeding drivers are involved in a considerable number of serious and even fatal collisions reported annually in the United States. Tens of thousands are killed each year in high-speed collisions nationwide, and nearly one-third of traffic fatalities in the past twenty years have involved speeding motorists. This is also an issue right here in Nevada. Nearly 32 percent of car accidents reported in the state during a recent five-year period involved a speeding motorist, according to findings from the Nevada Office of Traffic Safety (NOTS).
A car accident can completely change your life for the worse. It is common for victims to incur significant injuries and other damages. Some losses may include rising medical debts, lost income due to an inability to work and even vehicle repair costs, to name only a few. There are also many other non-monetary damages that may be available in your case.
