In the United States, distracted driving kills more than nine people every day, and human error is to blame for almost 90 percent of documented auto accidents. Statistics reveal that driving while distracted is increasingly contributing to significant collisions around the country. Distracted drivers cause almost 3,000 fatal crashes each year. In the time it takes to send a text message on the freeway, you can cover the length of a football field, which is more than enough distance to cause a life-changing crash.
