Paradise, NV (January 1, 2023) - On Saturday morning, December 30, a pedestrian was killed after a traffic accident in the Paradise area. The fatal collision was reported at the corner of Decatur Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue early that morning at around 4:30 a.m. Local reports revealed that a Ford F-250 pickup truck was driving down the road when it jumped onto the sidewalk near Cameron Street.
The driver of the pickup hit a man, a water box, and a water supply line, before crashing into a utility pole and an iron fence. The driver reversed and fled the scene. The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck was later found in an alley, and the driver was located at his residence.
