Nevada Distracted Driving Crashes

When operating a motor vehicle, you have to have your full attention on the road. Unfortunately, a lot of people in Nevada drive recklessly. Distracted driving is currently one of the leading causes of major crashes in the United States. Statistics show that in a recent year, distracted drivers were responsible for 424,000 injuries and 3,100 fatalities across the country. Engaging in small talk with a passenger, using a cell phone, or fiddling with the radio dial are all examples of distracted driving since they divert your focus from the road, even if only for a second. You may be able to file a claim for compensation to hold the negligent driver accountable for your injuries and other damages if they cause a serious crash with injuries.

Any time you drive, there is always a chance that you could get into a car accident. You could suffer life-threatening injuries in a matter of seconds due to the careless actions of another motorist. Your entire way of life may be at stake, and you probably will not have the resources necessary to handle the unanticipated losses that may arise from a crash. To protect your legal rights, it is important that you are able to take immediate action.
