High-Speed Collisions in Nevada

There are certain driving practices that can dramatically increase the likelihood of an auto accident. Probably one of the most prevalent in Nevada is speeding. Driving over the speed limit might result in a driver losing control of their vehicle and becoming an active hazard on the road. According to research conducted by the Nevada Office of Traffic Safety (NOTS), speeding plays a role in more than 32 percent of car accidents in the Silver State. Speeding drivers have been responsible for approximately 25 percent of road fatalities in the United States during the past 20 years.
